Songcove

Songcove turns a real story into an original song you can give as a gift. You tell it who the song is for, what the occasion is, and a few details only you would know — how you met, the inside joke, the thing they always say. It writes the lyrics and the music from that, and you hear a sixty-second preview before you pay for anything. If the words aren't quite right, you edit them or ask for another version, and it tries again.

The voice is what makes it different. You can keep the studio voice, or hum and sing for about thirty seconds — off-key is fine, and no musical ability is required — and Songcove will sing the whole finished song in your own voice. What the other person receives is then not a song about them performed by a stranger. It is you, singing to them.

The finished song arrives as a page they open like a gift, with cover art and a note from you. It can also become a lyric video set to your own photos, or a printable lyric poster for a wall. Songs can be written and sung in forty languages.
