Citevant

Citevant helps businesses understand how they appear in AI search and find relevant opportunities for brand mentions. It combines visibility monitoring with publisher research and outreach, so teams can follow the questions their buyers ask and the sources that AI engines use when answering them. The platform covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude.

The process starts by adding a website. Citevant reads the business profile, identifies competitors and builds a list of relevant buyer questions. It checks those questions across the supported engines each week, recording which brands are mentioned and which articles are cited. This gives teams a way to monitor their own visibility alongside competing products, instead of relying on a single manual search or an isolated screenshot of an answer.

Those citations also guide the outreach workflow. Citevant identifies publishers whose pages already appear in answers about the market, together with relevant sites mentioning competitors. It looks for opportunities in articles such as comparisons, reviews and buying guides. The aim is to request a contextual mention where the business fits the subject of the article. Publishers decide whether to accept a pitch and add the brand; sending a request does not guarantee a placement or an AI recommendation.

Citevant handles prospect research, contact discovery and personalized outreach. Teams can enable automatic outreach once their business profile and sending address are ready, or keep it disabled and review before sending. Replies and publisher conversations remain available in the dashboard, allowing the team to follow up when necessary. This connects the monitoring and outreach stages in one workflow rather than leaving teams to maintain separate lists of citations, contacts and replies.

Outreach uses a branded inbox on a separate domain selected for the business, rather than the main website domain or an everyday personal email address. The subscription includes that domain and inbox, with setup and DNS managed by Citevant. This keeps the outreach setup separate from the business's regular email infrastructure. The dashboard also includes competitor tracking, share of voice, outreach replies and Domain Rating tracking.

The service is intended for founders, agencies and marketing teams that want to monitor how their brands are represented in AI answers and approach relevant publishers. Results depend on the niche, publisher acceptance and when articles are updated. Citevant continues monitoring mentions over time so teams can see how visibility changes. Its published pricing is $19 for the first seven days, followed by $95 per month, with cancellation available at any time. The focus is on relevant editorial mentions and measurable visibility, rather than promising a fixed number of links or guaranteed search positions.
